Knockanean NS Ennis Co. Clare

Hi! We are Knockanean N.S. Our school is situated on the out-skirts of Ennis, Co. Clare. Our teachers explained to us how the Jack and Jill foundation will collect old mobile phones in exchange for a new interactive whiteboard, and we said we’d give it a go! After two weeks of collecting we have finally achieved our goal of 500 phones! We will continue collecting for another fortnight in the hope of collecting enough phones to get another whiteboard for our school! As this will save us an awful lot of money. Thank you the Jack and Jill Foundation for giving us this wonderful oppertunity!

Dublin Visits.

This week, Jack and Jill will be visiting schools in Dublin: Clondalkin, Tallaght, Artane, Raheny, Lucan, Kilmore West and Coolock are some of the areas where we will be meeting teachers and pupils partaking in our Phones for Boards Scheme.

An Update from Jack and Jill.

These last few days have been busy day for us in Jack and Jill. Firstly, the last batch of our schools packs were assembled and have all now left for schools. We know they have taken a little longer than anticipated, but we hope that the final product will be well received.

This site is designed to support your Jack and Jill Mobile Phone Appeal. It conatins the necessary materials to promote it successfully, details on Promethean Products, and a wealth of information for both teachers and pupils.

We look forward to hearing from you and keep an eye on what schools each week have received their interactive Whiteboards, fully installed  courtesy of The Jack and Jill Foundation.
