Benefits Of Recycling Your Phone For The Jack and Jill Foundation.
This fundraising campaign is one where everyone is a winner:
1. The children in participating schools see for themselves that helping a charity; need not always involve donating money. They learn a valuable lesson that real generosity is when we help someone who may never get the chance to thank us.
2. Local communities all over Ireland benefit by playing their part in helping families across the Republic, who sadly may not see their baby, grow up healthy enough to enter our schooling system.
3. Any school that is also taking part in the Green Schools can utilise their involvement in our campaign to help towards their Green Flag Application.
4. Parents benefit too, as the retail cost of whiteboards purchased directly by schools is high and this cost is often centered on fundraising drives carried out by parents associations.
5. The charity will benefit in the long term by informing the youth of the county of the work of its invaluable service. It will educate society at an early age of the benefits to the environment to be gained from donating their old mobile phone.
