Overview:
Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role requires a keen understanding of what we do at the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
You will play an integral part in managing and enhancing our online presence across all social media and online communications platforms, effectively communicating our mission and work to our community.
As a part of the wider Communications and Fundraising team, you will assist in fundraising and awareness campaigns, providing technical support and guidance.
Overall Responsibility:
- Assist the Digital Marketing Manager and the Head of Communications in implementing the Jack and Jill Marketing Strategy.
- Manage and maintain our social media platforms, scheduling posts using tools like Hootsuite or Hubspot.
- Create engaging content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva Pro, or other relevant software. (Training will be provided where required)
- Foster a supportive and engaging online community through active interaction and clear communication of our mission.
- Collaborate with the wider Communications and Fundraising teams to assist in executing and expanding fundraising campaigns and with our Nursing team to amplify recruitment needs and service-related news.
- Assist in research, and generate insightful reports using Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Hubspot, and other analytics tools to measure KPI’s and feed that data back into the marketing strategy.
- Publish newsletters on our WordPress website and distribute ezines using SuperOffice CRM (training will be provided where required).
Occasionally update our website and online shop (training will be provided where required). - Manage and deliver on multiple digital marketing and fundraising campaigns within given deadlines.
- Attend weekly team meetings and brainstorming sessions at our office in Johnstown, Co. Kildare.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Apply creative problem-solving techniques within realistic parameters.
- Occasionally work weekend/evening hours and attend events representing the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is preferrable.
- Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven ability to think on your feet, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a keen willingness to learn.
- Experience in copywriting, would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full clean driver’s license.
- Excellent time/project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Graphic design, WordPress, Photography or Videography skills are bonuses but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
