A Day in the Life of a Jack and Jill Liaison Nurse Manager – June’s Story
The role of a Liaison Nurse Manager is hugely varied, as demonstrated by June Foxton, who has been working with Jack and Jill since 2020, having previously worked as a Paediatric Nurse in both Temple Street and Crumlin Children’s Hospitals. For June, caring has always come naturally.
“As long as I can remember, I wanted to be a nurse,” she says. At just 15 years old, after watching a documentary filmed in the cardiac intensive care unit in Crumlin, she knew exactly where she wanted to work.
