Why Partner with Jack & Jill?

About Jack & Jill

We provide and fund in-home nursing care and respite support for children up to the age of six, with a range of neurodevelopmental issues including brain injury, genetic diagnosis and severe cerebral palsy.

Many of the children we care for have undiagnosed conditions. We also provide end-of-life care for children under the age of 6, regardless of diagnosis.

  • Local to 412 children under our wing, their families, 600 nurses, 100 volunteers and wider community.
  • The money goes directly into home nursing care hours and makes a genuine difference at a local level.
  • Set up by parents, for parents, with the objective of making life easier.
  • Committed to caring for families, supporting very sick children from birth to 6 years of age.

Rainbow of Care

The initial blueprint and ethos of family centred care continues to be the foundation for our service. This model of care is underpinned by a Rainbow of Care showing the holistic nature of our service.

Families refer to the service as ‘The Gift of Time’. Time to do the ordinary things that others often take for granted. Throughout the challenging climate that is Covid-19, we have adapted our model of care to meet HSE guidelines, as well as the care needs of our families.
