Teddy bears have always been a symbol of love, care and comfort – especially for children. So, this June, we’re calling on you to dig out your favourite fluffy friend and take part in Ted’s Big Day Out to support over 504+ Jack and Jill families across Ireland.
Whether you’re young, or just young at heart, it’s time to show your teddy pride and join in the fun – raising awareness and vital funds for families caring for seriously ill children at home.
Perfect for creches, Montessori, schools, early childcare facility, activity centre—or anyone with a picnic basket and a bit of imagination! Gather the little ones (and their bears!) for a day of fun, games, and giving back.
For those first out of hibernation! – There is an exclusive Early Bear Goodie Bag for the first 15 groups to register – so don’t delay!
We all have that one teddy we’ll never forget. This June, tell us your story! Post a video or photo with your favourite teddy, tag Jack and Jill, and use the hashtag #J&JTeddyBearsTales. You can even set up an iDonate link to help raise funds.

“The children were all bringing in their own teddy bears, and we had a series of activities, like walks within the grounds of the school, a bear hunt, story times and games. It finished with the children bringing their teddies on a picnic. The families then donated what they could.
