Jack & Jill were delighted to be one of the beneficiary charities for this year’s Sean Kelly Waterford Tour!
The iconic cycle which took place in Dungarvan on Saturday and Sunday 23rd and 24th August was, as always, a resounding success with over 6,000 cyclists taking part.
The sun shone on Saturday for the 12K Family Event and it was fantastic to see so many children participating with their families for this great fun day out at Walton Park. The serious cyclists were not so lucky with the weather on Sunday however as shortly after departure the rain fell for the rest of the day making the cycle even more challenging. Not to be deterred, cyclists arrived back safe and sound to Dungarvan to celebrate their achievement despite being soaked to the skin. Our sincere thanks to the organisers and Waterford County Council for choosing to support Jack & Jill this year.
Congratulations and well done to all those who took the challenge and especially those who raised much needed funding for our very fragile babies.
