Anne McLoughlin

Anne is a Liaison Nurse Manager with the Jack and Jill Foundation since January 2020. Following her Registration as a General Nurse in Aintree Hospitals, Liverpool in1993 she worked in the emergency department. While travelling to Australia and New Zealand she worked in many different health care settings. On return to Ireland completed her Higher Diploma in Children’s Nursing in conjunction with Temple Street Children’s Hospital and University College Dublin in 2000, then continuing her studies receiving a BSc in Nursing Studies in 2003. Anne worked as a children’s nurse in Temple Street since 2000, first working in Intensive Care and then working as an anaesthetic and recovery nurse in theatre. Prior to starting with Jack and Jill Foundation, in 2017 Anne worked in the community in Ballymun and as an immunisation Nurse for the schools. Last year 2019 Anne completed her post graduate Diploma in NUIG Galway in children with Complex needs and Palliative care and is currently doing her master’s in nursing in the Royal College of Surgeons.
