Cathy Keighery

Covering: Galway, Roscommon, Westmeath Cathy is a Liaison Nurse Manager with the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation since October 2001. She is a Registered General Nurse trained in the traditional method at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. She is also a Registered Children’s Nurse following a post graduate training at Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street. Dublin. She also completed a Renal Nursing and Dialysis course (ENB 136) in 2000 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington and London. In 2015, Cathy completed her master’s degree in Palliative and Complex Care for Children, Young People and Families at Coventry University in the U.K. Prior to joining the Jack and Jill team in 2001, Cathy has had a varied career, having worked as a volunteer in an orphanage in Romania for almost a year in the early nineties to working in London, New York, Dublin and Tullamore.
