Jack and Jill are delighted to be nominated as one of the 6 finalist to receive the Irish Healthcare Centre Award 2015 for the Most Outstanding Achievement 2015: The Peoples Choice Award!
The purpose of this Award is to recognize and celebrate the hard work and commitment many voluntary and self funded organisations do on a day to day basis and the difference they make to certain communities nationwide.
Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provide direct funding to families of children with brain damage up to the age of 4 who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. We also provide end of life care to all children up to the age of 4 years. These are children who as a result of their condition require intensive home nursing care. The Foundation provides families ‘The Gift Of Time’. Time to do things that we so often take for granted like a nights sleep, shopping or even meeting a friend for a cup of tea.
