A Year of Impact, Growth and Compassion
We’re delighted to share the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation Annual Report 2025, celebrating another remarkable year of supporting families across Ireland and the incredible community of supporters who made it all possible.
A Year of Impact
Thanks to the support of our donors, fundraisers, volunteers, corporate partners and communities across Ireland, in 2025 we:
- Supported 547 children and their families with vital in-home nursing and respite care.
- Funded 128,196 hours of in-home nursing and respite care, alongside more than 26,500 hours of support from our Liaison Nurse Managers and 3,300 hours from our Family Coordinators.
- Supported 25 children to spend their final days at home, surrounded by the people who love them most.
- Raised over €10 million, helping ensure more families could access the care and support they need.
Growing Our Service
As the needs of families continue to evolve, so too does Jack and Jill.
Following the success of several pilot programmes, we permanently extended our service to support children up to seven years of age, giving families an additional year of invaluable in-home nursing and respite care.
We also expanded the support available beyond nursing by introducing Catch Up & Connect coffee mornings nationwide, creating welcoming spaces where parents can meet, share experiences and feel less alone. In addition, we introduced six counselling sessions for every Jack and Jill family, ensuring emotional wellbeing is supported alongside practical care.
The Families at the Heart of Our Work
This year’s report also shares the stories of some of the incredible families we support, including Cian, Eoin and Matthew. Their experiences offer a powerful insight into the realities of caring for a child and the difference that Jack and Jill supporters make every single day.
Their stories are a reminder that every hour of nursing care provides so much more than practical support. It gives parents time to rest, siblings precious one-to-one attention, and families the opportunity to make memories together.
On behalf of our Board, our staff and, most importantly, the families we support, thank you for helping us give families the gift of time, reassurance and the chance to simply be a family again. Whether you donated, fundraised, volunteered, partnered with us or helped spread the word, you have played a vital role in helping Jack and Jill continue to provide a lifeline to families across Ireland.
We hope you enjoy reading our 2025 Annual Report and seeing the impact your support continues to make.
