Every €18 funds one hour of specialist home nursing and end of life care for an extra special child in your community and there is no waiting list! Today we support 374 families across the country. These are children from birth to 6 years of age who have complex needs. We also provide end of life care enabling families to have that precious time at home with their child. The journey and life experience of our Jack & Jill children is at the heart of everything we do and the funds we raise, provide vital support through our army of 700 community nurses and carers. Words simply can’t express what this support means and how special our nurses and carers are to our families.

Each Jack & Jill child is unique in their care requirements so the money follows the patient into the home. We fund more than 100,000 hours every year, giving exhausted parents a much needed break and an opportunity to do the things that most of us take for granted, such as the weekly grocery shop, picking up prescriptions from the pharmacy, spending quality time with their other children or simply catching up on much needed sleep. End of life care is also a very important part of what we do at Jack & Jill. Our dedicated, skilled and experienced team empowers parents to care for their child at home, and live their remaining days amongst their own family, friends and community.

The Covid crisis has cast a shadow over our funding and we are appealing to business owners to get behind local families and become a County Champion.
