On Saturday 8th February we go to the polls to cast our votes and determine the make-up of Ireland’s next Government.
Candidates, if elected, will have the power to shape the future of Ireland, a future where everyone is valued and cared for including the Jack & Jill families living in your county. (See Map)
The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation Manifesto is calling on candidates to give carers a break, by providing the respite they need at home and in their communities, in order to support them in caring for children with complex medical needs.We are also repeating our call to abolish the ‘In Loco Parentis’ rule which ‘makes parents virtual prisoners in their own homes’.
