The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is proud to announce that we have once again been awarded Triple Lock status by Charities Institute Ireland for 2026 – marking our sixth consecutive year achieving this gold standard for transparency, governance and ethical fundraising.
This recognition follows the successful completion of the Triple Lock self-certification process and reflects our continued commitment to operating to the highest standards across every aspect of our organisation.
The Triple Lock is awarded to charities that:
- Comply with the Charities Regulator’s Governance Code
- Adhere to the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising
- Prepare and publish financial accounts in line with best practice standards

At a time when many individuals, families and organisations are navigating a challenging economic and geo-political climate – and where trust in institutions is under increasing pressure – this accreditation provides clear, independent assurance that Jack and Jill is a charity people can rely on.
Recent independent research highlights that supporters increasingly prioritise transparency, governance and clear impact when choosing charities to support. Achieving Triple Lock status in 2026 reinforces our commitment to meeting these expectations and maintaining the confidence placed in us.
Deirdre Walsh, CEO of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, said:
“Retaining Triple Lock status for 2026 is something we are incredibly proud of. In a time when trust is more important than ever, this recognition reflects the strength of our governance, the dedication of our Board, and the commitment of our entire team to doing things the right way.
We know that families, donors and partners are making careful choices about where to place their support. Triple Lock provides reassurance that Jack and Jill is a charity they can trust – where their support is managed with integrity and delivers real impact for families across Ireland.”
We would like to thank our Board of Trustees, staff, partners and supporters for helping us uphold these standards and continue delivering vital in-home nursing care to families across Ireland.
