Joanne Doyle

Covering: Wexford, Carlow and South Wicklow Joanne is a Liaison Nurse Manager with the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation since 2004. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin in 1993 and a Registered Children’s Nurse in OLCHC, Dublin in 1997. In November 2015, Joanne was awarded a master’s degree in Palliative and Complex Care for Children, Young People and Families from Coventry University. When Joanne qualified in General Nursing she worked in the National Centre for Cystic Fibrosis and Respiratory Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital for 2 years. She then went to OLCHC for her children’s nurse training and when she first qualified she worked in the Paediatric Unit in University Hospital Waterford and returned to OLCHC as staff nurse and CNM 1 in the infant cardiac unit for 6 years. She relocated to Wexford and worked in the paediatric unit in Wexford General Hospital for 18 months until joining the nursing team in the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation covering Carlow, shares Kilkenny and Wexford.
