Leaving a legacy is a deeply personal decision, and we respect your privacy. We will never pressure you in any way and fully understand that you may wish to change your mind at any time in the future. While you are not required to inform us about your decision to leave a gift in your Will, we would love the opportunity to thank you and keep you updated on our work if you do.

Free Online Will Writing Service
Writing or amending your Will doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive. At Jack and Jill, we offer a Free Will Service for our supporters and their partners. Through this service, you can create a simple Will at no cost using an online Will-writing platform. We are a charity partner of FreeWill Ireland, making this service easily accessible to you.
While the FreeWill service is ideal for many people, if your circumstances are more complex, we recommend seeking the services of a solicitor for tailored guidance.
There is no obligation, but if you do choose to support us by including a gift in your Will, we would be incredibly grateful. How to Get Started Free Will Ireland
To help you write your Will from the comfort of your own home, we’ve partnered with FreeWill Ireland to offer you a free online Will-writing service.
Here’s how you can get started:
- Contact Michaela Foley: Once you decide you’d like to use this service, please get in touch with Michaela Foley to receive your unique weblink for your free Will. You can email Michaela at [email protected] or call 045 894538. You’ll also receive a simple Will Guidance Document via email.
- Review the Guidance: Take time to review the guidance document before completing your online Will. Plan your Will, considering your assets, liabilities, and your wishes for the future.
- Start Drafting Your Will: When you’re ready, click on the link provided to begin drafting your free online Will.
- Progress Through the Sections: The online service consists of several sections, which you can review and edit as you go along.
- Finalise Your Will: Once the system generates your Will (it will be sent to your email), print it out and follow the instructions for signing and having it witnessed.
- Store Your Will Safely: After signing, store your Will in a safe place. It’s also a good idea to let other relevant people know where to find it.

Frequently Asked Questions
If I Leave a Gift to Jack and Jill in My Will, Do I Need to Let You Know?
We won’t be notified that you’ve left a gift unless you choose to inform us (there’s a tick box option in the Will for this) or until your Will is read after your passing. However, we always love to hear from our supporters so we can express our gratitude and keep in touch. You are welcome to inform us at any time, but there’s no obligation to do so.
What If I Change My Mind?
Including a gift to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation in your Will is not a binding commitment while you are alive. You are free to change your mind and amend your Will whenever you wish.
I Have a Trusted Solicitor. Can I Use Them to Leave a Gift to Jack and Jill?
Yes, absolutely! You can use your own solicitor to draft your Will, although there may be a fee for this service. Simply inform your solicitor that you’d like to include a gift (either residuary or cash) to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, and they will ensure it’s included. Once completed, we’d be grateful if you could let us know so we can thank you, but you’re not required to do so.
If you’ve already written a Will and would like to leave a gift, you can add a codicil (a simple amendment) with your solicitor to update your Will.
