The Irish summer weather of wind and rain which descended on the beautiful, picturesque surroundings of Rathsallagh Golf Course did not dampen the spirit and wonderful enthusiasm shown by the golfers of our 26 teams who participated in The Jack and Jill Annual Golf Classic 2012.
A great day was enjoyed by all with plenty of banter both on and off the course. The relaxed and laid back evening of dinner together with foot tapping music provided by the Kings River and jaw dropping tricks performed by magician Shane Black kept everyone entertained ….. and if that wasn’t enough the “Spain v Ireland” UEFA Soccer game was also televised……say no more!
While all teams played exceedingly well , unfortunately, the “Hole in One” competition prizes including a Toyota RAV4 car were not claimed this year. There were however some fantastic team/individual prizes won by the following lucky participants:
