Nestlé Ireland’s 120 employees succeeded in raising €30,074 for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation charity last year. Employees organised and participated in a wide range of fund raising events including mini-marathons, mountain climbing, a sky dive and a race night for the charity that provides home nursing care for children with brain damage who suffer from severe intellectual and physical developmental delay. Nestlé Ireland employees aim to raise another €30,000 for the charity in 2011. Plans are underway in the drive to raise awareness and much needed funds for the charity.
Jonathan Irwin, CEO and Founder, The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation said; “I would like to congratulate the staff at Nestlé on the remarkable effort they have put in over the past 12 months to raise over €30,000 for Jack & Jill. It will go a long way towards keeping our 270 Jack & Jill babies nationwide warm and cosy at home. Thank you.”
Oliver Sutherland, Nestlé Ireland Country Business Manager said; “Sincere congratulations to one and all for their hard work and commitment to Jack & Jill. It is a fantastic amount of money to raise, particularly in these strained economic times. Everyone involved should be very proud of what they have achieved.”
