Kathleen Ryan, teacher at the Franciscan College Gormanston, is going to walk the Camino de Santiago following the ‘Camino Frances’ or the ‘French Way’ on behalf of Gormanston for the Jack & Jill Foundation. This is an 800km walk from St Jean Pied de Port in France, across the Pyrenees, through La Rioja, Burgos, Leon and into Santiago de Compostela, constantly updating the progress on Twitter(@Kate_e_Ryan), Facebook and the Gormanston Religion Blog.
This walk is part of a series of various events organised by the College in aid of Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation in 2012 which recently included the participation at the Great Ireland Run.
